CHILDREN’S schoolwork taken home for marking was stolen during a burglary at a North-East house.
The break-in occurred 5.40am and 6.10am at a house in Crossways, in Langley Park, County Durham.
During the burglary a distinctive tote bag containing children’s homework was stolen.
Police are appealing information from anyone who say anything suspicious or has found the bag abandoned.
Officers have arrested two men, who are aged 35 and 45, and are from the Consett area, in connection with the burglary.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
