JUDGES visited Durham’s Botanic Gardens yesterday to assess horticultural developments for the Northumbria in Bloom competition.
The entry, led by community volunteers and submitted with support from Durham County Council, will see the Durham representing the small city category.
Chester-le-Street’s Lumley Castle, which is flying the flag for County Durham in the large town category, will be visited tomorrow.
