PEOPLE have a final chance to comment on a neighbourhood plan before it is submitted for a local referendum.
Durham County Council started the final consultation on s neighbourhood plan for Durham City, on Monday.
People have the chance to comment on the plan, which will guide development for the next 15 years, until February 17.
It has been developed by the City of Durham Parish Council with feedback from residents, businesses and other interested parties and contains policies on sustainable development, historic environment, green infrastructure, employment, housing, transport and community facilities.
The plan can be viewed at www.durham.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplans or by visiting Durham Town Hall, Clayport Library or County Hall.
