A MAN has admitted a spate of crime committed over a ten-day period in May.
Appearing at Durham Crown Court, via video link from the city’s prison, Lee Anthony Graham admitted burglary, two counts of theft, possessing a bladed article and cannabis possession.
The court heard the break-in was at a house in Braithwaite Road, Peterlee, in which Lladro ornaments and tea-towels were taken.
The thefts were from Asda, in Peterlee, and Tesco, in Dragonville, Durham, where he was also found in possession of a kitchen knife.
Graham, 45, of Polden Close, Peterlee, who is remanded in custody, denied a further count of burglary, at a house in Shotton Colliery, but a reviewing Crown lawyer is to consider whether or not that count is to be pursued, over the next 24 hours.
