FIRE crews dealt with a large barn fire on Sunday.
The alarm was raised at around 7am in the Bridge Hills area of Easington, County Durham.
Two crews from Peterlee Fire Station were sent to the scene and at 2pm a spokesman for County Durham Fire and Rescue Service said: "We still have one crew working with pitch forks and positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish approximately 60 tonnes of hay which is still on fire."
