POLICE have released an image of a man they want to speak to after significant damage was caused to university accommodation.
The incident happened at about 3am on Thursday, June 13, when a man forced entry to Manor Banks student accommodation in the Manors area of in Newcastle. He forced entry to the electric front door and smashed a glass panel to get into the building.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “Enquiries to identify the man are ongoing and police are now releasing an image of someone they need to trace as part of their investigation.
“The man was in the area at the time and may be able to assist officers with their investigation.”
Anyone who knows his identity, or recognises the person in the picture, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 607 13/06/19.
