A HISTORIC walled garden is hosting an afternoon of music this weekend.
The "music in the garden" event takes place at Old Durham Gardens, on the outskirts of Durham city on Sunday, between 1pm and 4.30pm.
It features Durham Scratch Choir, which performs an eclectic mix of music including popular and medieval tunes.
Quar Tetes, Plot 77, a Bluegrass country music band, Durham Harmonics and Appalachian clog dance group Step this Way and The Bones Creek Band are also playing.
Parking is available at the Graham Sports Centre, at Maiden Castle. Disabled parking is available outside the venue, which is accessed from Benthouse Lane, off Sherburn Road.
Entry is free though donations would be welcome.
