NOVICE and born-again musicians come together to showcase their fledgling talents in performance for the first time, on Saturday.
The new Ludworth Cobweb Orchestra, backed by ‘friends’ from other more established ensembles, gives a free concert at St Cuthbert’s Church, in nearby Shadforth.
Starting at 7.30pm, the programme features short classical and sacred music, plus some lighter pieces.
The group, the latest open access orchestra in the cobweb movement, meets at Ludworth Community Centre, on Tuesdays during school term time, at 7pm.
Any aspiring musicians or former players are welcome.
