PEOPLE buying a home at a historic estate can now reserve one which will feature a special Lambton brick dating back to the Victorian era.

Online reservations are now open for Miller Homes at Lambton Park, near Chester-le-Street, where work is well underway.

The landmark residential scheme forms part of the high-profile redevelopment, which will help to maintain the estate’s legacy while opening it up to the public.

The development will comprise 106 high-quality three, four and five-bedroom homes along with one, two and three-bedroom apartments across two phases designed in keeping with the heritage of the estate.

The development’s sales centre opened its doors on Saturday and prospective buyers can find out more about the houses available and make a reservation.

The development’s five-bedroom showhome will open in the autumn.

Andrew Somerville, of Miller Homes North-East, said: “Our plans for homes at Lambton Park are coming to life and it will be an incredibly special place to live.

“The estate’s long-standing heritage is acknowledged within the architectural design of the homes we’re building and the placement of the Lambton brick is an added significant touch.

“There has been high levels of interest in the development, and the release of this initial phase of homes marks an exciting milestone moment in this landmark project.”
