FANS of a popular series of children’s books can see their favourite characters brought to life next week.
The live version of Tom Gates is on at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle for a three day run from Thursday, June 27.
A theatre spokeswoman said: “This exciting and hilarious new adventure brings the fantastic characters to life and is perfect for all the family whether you are a lover of the books or new to Tom and his friends.”
Based on the books by Liz Pichon, the show is brought by the team behind Horrible Histories and Gangsta Granny.
Performances are 7pm with matinees on Thursday at 1.30pm, on Friday at 10.30am and Saturday at 11am and 2.30pm.
Tickets are from £14.50 and can be purchased from the box office on 08448-112-121.
