MEMBERS of a city woodland conservation trust gather for their monthly work party session, on Sunday.
The Friends of Pelaw Wood, in Durham, carries out tidy-ups, clearances, step and footpath repairs, plus other tasks to enhance public access, on the first Sunday of each month.
Anyone willing to join the party should gather in St Giles Close, Gilesgate, near Silverlink Bridge, at 10am.
Group members usually retreat to The Queen's Head, in Sherburn Road Ends, for refreshment and to discuss the following month's tasks, at about 12.30pm
