LIFE in a Sunderland community is being celebrated in a new publication.
‘I Remember When’ is a 14 page book compiled by residents, students at St Paul’s School, and the Ryhope Reminiscence and Ryhope Heritage Society groups.
It has been illustrated by North-East artist Liz Million.
Altogether, 100 copies have been printed and presented to the Wearside residents and the groups who took part.
Paula Hunt, from Ryhope Community Association, said: “School pupils interviewed dozens of older people and asked what the community was like when they were growing up and how it has changed.”
