CHILDREN can enjoy a magical Christmas party in a ‘toasty tipi’ in a park next month.
Little Blue Monster Productions return to Wharton Park, Durham, with a new festive production, The Big Snowy Christmas.
It tells the story of the Bear family as they host a Christmas party in their tipi home.
The party features a Christmas singalong, followed by a magical performance about brave Baby Bear who helps to save festive celebrations.
Baby Bear’s Christmas Disco should get tipi-goers dancing, with a special visit from Santa to finish the festivities.
Youngsters will then get the chance to meet Santa and the Bear family.
The one-hour performance is on Saturday and Sunday December 15 and 16, at 11.30am and 2pm on both days. Doors open half an hour before the show.
Tickets cost £13.50 per person or £48 for a family ticket for four.
Booking can be made online, via www.durham.gov.uk/whartonpark, or by ringing (03000) 266600.
Young show-goers will receive a special invitation in the post from the Bear Family prior to the event.
