A COLLEGE in the North-East has appointed a new principal and chief executive.
Chris Todd started his new role at Derwentside College on Monday following a rigorous recruitment process.
He was previously executive director of finance and resources at the college and is a former acting principal and chief executive at Northumberland College.
Mr Todd has also worked for the Learning and Skills Council and The Excel Academy Partnership.
He said: “I believe this college has huge potential and I am very much looking forward to building on existing strengths and successes.
“I feel honoured and privileged to have the opportunity to lead this fantastic organisation.”
