Partnership winners
CHILDREN from primary schools in Stanley Learning Partnership received recognition in the SLP Star Awards, the partnership’s new awards initiative.
Children from nursery, early years foundation stage and key stages 1 and 2 of the three partner schools –South Stanley Infant and Nursery, South Stanley Junior and Greenland Community Primary, attended a red-carpet event to receive their awards.
The awards, supported by Stanley Town Council, recognise hard work, dedication, effort, commitment and achievements of children across the partnership.
Isabella Collier, six, South Stanley Infant and Nursery School’s Above and Beyond winner said: “The event has been amazing, it’s like a fairytale. I can’t believe I’ve won and I’m here.”
