Guest speaker George Courtney
GEORGE COURTNEY will be this month’s guest speaker at the Age UK County Durham Gents’ Breakfast on Wednesday, July 18 at 9.30am.
The breakfast is held at café Cenno in Durham Indoor market, on the third Wednesday of every month. The Come Eat Together Gents’ breakfast is £4 per person and is an opportunity to get together enjoy a hearty English breakfast and hear from guest speakers.
Mr Courtney, a retired headteacher from Spennymoor, is the only Englishman to have refereed at two World Cup finals, for which he received an MBE.
