ADULTS have the chance to polish up their parenting skills on a five-week course.
Parents of children aged under five are encouraged to sign up for the course which explores confidence, self-esteem and positive thinking.
The Learn to Shine course started at Haswell Children’s Centre, in Church Street, Haswell, east Durham, on Monday (April 29).
But a few places are still open for the remaining four weeks of the course, although pre-booking is advised. Free crèche places are available for those attending.
The course runs from 1pm to 3pm on all non-Bank Holiday Mondays until June 10.
