Permission has been granted for the demolition of an existing agricultural building and its replacement with a single residential dwelling at Coops Farm, The Village, Hawthorn, near Peterlee. Durham County Council also gave Conservation Area Consent.
PLANS RE-SUBMITTED: An application seeking outline permission for nine dwellings at Eden Transport, Eden House, High Hesleden, has been resubmitted to Durham County Council. Consideration is pending.
SCHOOL EXTENSION: A planning application has been submitted to Durham County Council seeking permission for a single-storey extension at South Hetton Primary School, Frederick Terrace, South Hetton. A decision will be made by planning officers using delegated authority.
PERMISSION GRANTED: Durham County Council has granted permission for the change the use of 10 Adelaide Row, Seaham, to form a hot food takeaway.
PACT MEETING: A Police and Community Together (Pact) meeting will be held at Wheatley House, Wheatley Hill, from 6.30pm to 7pm on Wednesday, December 12. The meeting will be attended by a representative from the neighbourhood policing team.
