Darlington's Boxing Day game has been postponed.

Quakers were due to face Fleetwood Town, but the playing surface at The Northern Echo Arena failed a pitch inspection today.

With more freezing temperatures forecast, the game has been shelved and now Darlington hope next to be in action at Gateshead on Tuesday.

However, that game is also in the balance with a pitch inspection due to be held at the International Stadium at 9.30am on the day of the game.

The postponement of the Fleetwood game is the latest of several Quakers have had to scrap during the cold snap.

Mark Cooper's side have not played a league game since November 20 and now face a hectic schedule during the second half of the season.
