AGE Concern Darlington has celebrated the work of local volunteers by holding an awards evening.
A total of 70 of the charitys 150 volunteers in the town attended the evening and 37 awards were presented by new Chief Executive, Gillian Peel.
Volunteers and staff nominated the winners in categories including Best New Volunteers and Long Term Volunteers.
Susan Cart, the charity's program co-ordinator, said: "What a great night it was - it's been the talking point at Age Concern all week."
