DARLINGTON FC Under 9 Girls are waving goodbye to Division 1 after being promoted to the Premier Division.
The news follows a fantastic season that saw the team celebrating a win after every single game, scoring a total of 114 goals this season.
Managed by Mick Walton and coached by Caisey Lee, the group formed last June and has never lost a competitive game.
Annie Anderson has scored an impressive 58 goals so far this season, with 32 assists from midfield.
Head of Girls football Harry Bowes said: “The Under 9s are not just a very talented group but are also very enjoyable to watch, train and play.
"Mick and Caisey have worked wonders through a hardworking ethos, constantly developing the players. This team will go very far and has an exciting future."
