A SECURITY firm have won a prestigious award in recognition of their support to the armed forces community.

G&A Security, based in Darlington, have been recognised by Defence Secretary Ben Wallace by being awarded an Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award.

Jay Graham, Managing Director was presented with the award at a ceremony at the National Army Museum in London.

The Ministry of Defence's Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Awards represent the highest badge of honour available to those that employ and support those who serve, veterans, and their families.

G&A Security have been recognised throughout their journey of support, first signing the Armed Forces Covenant in July 2016 receiving Bronze, then onto Silver in 2017.
