A SENIOR care firm, which helps elderly people enjoy quality of life, have independence and stay in their own homes for as long as possible, have moved to a bigger office following the expansion of its team.

Home Instead Senior Care, based at Lingfield Point in Darlington, says as its clients age they may need more support which has led to more care giving jobs.

Diane Chandler, Director of Home Instead Senior Care, was pleased with the move

She said: “We have added six more carers as well as key personnel in the management team.

“We had outgrown our other office – we were on top of each other.

“We looked at - do we need to move? Shall we look elsewhere? But it was a non-starter, Lingfield Point is perfect for us.

“Some of our team work at night and it is safe here with plenty of parking. We are in a lovely building - it’s just a nice place to be.

“Now I have my own office, there’s a training room and space for a staff area which is better for staff welfare.

“The workspace is big enough to accommodate further growth – I think the move has helped us to future proof the business."

The senior care business has been based at Linfield Point since 2012.

Estate Manager, Eddie Humphries, said: “It was a very straightforward move and we are delighted to say Diane and her team will be with us for many years to come. The bigger office in Lingfield House is looking great and offers space and privacy which were becoming an issue as the numbers at the firm grew.”
