Obituary: Barbara Ward – great grandmother who lived life to the fullest
BARBARA WARD died on September 24, aged 82.
Born in Darlington, she most recently lived in Kelowna, in British Colombia, Canada.
Married to Dave, they had children David, Jeffrey and Julie and she has a sister Jean Appleby, and in-laws Betty, Martha, Jeannie (Dave), Johnnie (Irene) and Michael (Leslie), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A service was held on September 30 in Kelowna.
Barbara and Dave emigrated to Canada with their three children in 1966. They lived a very fulfilling life, travelled the world and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Barbara was a grandmother to five, a great grandmother to five and will be sadly missed by all.
