A GROUP of performers are ready to wow audiences as their circus comes to town.

Travelling circus, Circus Sallai, will be pitched up in the grounds of Cree Beck Farm off Neasham Road, Darlington, until this Sunday, September 15.

With the opening night last night, the cast are promising visitors a show all the family can enjoy.

Ringmistress Angel said: "We were here last year and we had a fantastic response with people posting on our Facebook page asking us to come back.

"This year we have a brand new show with new acts where we tell you a story as well as perform.

"We have trapeze, jugglers, acrobatics, laser routines, ariel performers, motorbikes, and the return of Billy the clown. We have got a real variety for all the family."

Billy the clown added: "In this show, Angel's job is to keep everything going smoothly and my job is to make that as difficult as possible for her.

"I do magic, tell jokes, juggle and connect with the audience as much as possible.

"We have got amazing talent from all over the world for everyone to enjoy."

Performances are at 5pm and 7.30pm on Thursday and Friday, 2pm and 5pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.

Tickets can be booked on site at the ticket office, by calling 07393 137 137 or 08000 025 757, or online at circus-sallai.co.uk
