A CHILDREN'S theatre in Darlington has unveiled its summer programme of events.

Organisers at Theatre Hullabaloo in Darlington say children, young people, and their families will be entertained with a mix of free creative play installations, practical workshops with world-class theatre makers and the chance to put together a play in a day that they can then share with their families.

The jam-packed programme hopes to help children and parents make the most of the holidays, while providing free spaces for the community to enjoy.

Highlights include Deep Sea Adventures Workshop where adventurers can join artists Becci, Roma and Toni on a voyage of discovery to imagine a magical journey going deep down into the ocean.

In this creative play workshop, there’ll be opportunities to move around, respond to images and sound and a chance to inspire the design of Theatre Hullabaloo’s new installation Deep Sea Adventures coming in November.

In August, Roma – the designer of The Hullabaloo’s Enchanted Forest installation – will also be running Enchanted Village Workshop, where children will have the opportunity to design and build their own fairy houses and fill them with technological magic.
