A TOWN is preparing to showcase its ingenious past, present and future at a family event tomorrow.
Darlington’s annual Festival of Ingenuity returns for the fourth time, once again filling the town centre with technology based exhibitions, a wide range of interactive activities for all ages, street entertainment and live music.
Organised by Darlington Partnership, sponsored by Darlington Borough Council and supported by Darlington Building Society, the free festival celebrates the town’s ingenuity and manufacturing heritage.

Visitors will be able to get hands-on with a variety of interactive exhibits, with the opportunity to control a miniature submarine, try technology used in the day-to-day life of police officers and learn how to fly a drone and more.
The entertainment continues into the evening at the Riverside Park, behind the Town Hall, until 6pm.
