AN ASPIRING young artist has earned the chance to have her artwork go on display to celebrate the release of a much-loved Disney classic.

Ten-year-old Grace Evans entered a competition open to creative youngsters across the country inviting them to design and draw a new poster for Dumbo.

Judges were so impressed with Grace's design that she has been named as of the ten winners from across the UK to have her artwork reproduced and displayed in her hometown cinema.

Grace was invited by Vue Darlington in the recently-rebranded DL1 leisure complex to see her Dumbo poster on display in the foyer.

She was joined by her proud parents for the big reveal and was also given a £50 gift card to be spent at Vue.

Grace's design features the classic cartoon creature and is on show for cinema goers visiting the site in the coming weeks.

Dumbo is currently being screened in Vue Darlington and is based on the Disney classic. The remake has been directed by Tim Burton and stars Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Michael Keaton, and Danny Devito.
