PUPILS across Darlington are being urged to take part in a new competition in order to learn about the benefits of catching a bus.

Arriva North East has launched a competition, which will run from March 25 - 29, to ask pupils to use their imagination to draw what they think a bus will look like in 100 years.

The winner, selected by a team of bus experts, will have their artwork displayed on an Arriva bus, as well as receiving a school trip for them and 30 of their classmates to the SEA LIFE Centre.

Helen Redford, regional marketing manager for Arriva said: “Launching this competition in schools across Darlington, is a fun way to encourage children to think creatively about what our future might look like.

“Technology is moving at such a fast pace, and the last one hundred years has seen the bus industry completely transform, so who knows what the future holds, there could even be underwater buses.”

The lucky winner will be picked on March 29. If you or your school would like to enter the competition contact arriva@smokinggunpr.co.uk
