A LOVEABLE Terrier-cross with enough energy to play the day away is on the lookout for a family to share a home with.

Four-year-old Mackie is currently being cared for at the Dogs Trust Darlington’s Sadberge-based rehoming centre and almost found his forever home after arriving in November 2017.

However, the match was not meant to be and he has since been waiting patiently for a new owner to share playtime with.

A spokesman for the charity said: “Mackie gets lots of people asking about him which is great, however he does have some specific requirements from his new home.

“Mackie would need an adult-only, quiet home, preferably with only one person living there, as well as infrequent visitors. He would like to be the only pet in the home, with a secured indoor kennel or baby gate where he can retreat to when he wants.

“He is particular about other canine companions so would prefer there to be no neighbouring dogs, with lots of quiet places for walks.”

Potential owners for Mackie can contact the Dogs Trust Darlington training team by calling 01325-33114 to further discuss Mackie’s requirements at home.
