A HOME care company is relaunching its campaign to encourage more people to look after elderly members of the community as demand for its services continue to grow.
Following the success of last year's campaign, You Can Care, the Home Instead Senior Group are looking to recruit 35 caregivers to join their team.
Diane Chandler, owner of Home Instead Darlington, said: “The idea behind the You Can Care campaign is to call out to people who may not have thought about a career in care.
"Caring is a truly rewarding job which offers excellent training and flexible hours.”
She added: "We have many amazing caregivers delivering care to the elderly in our community.
"Although they are all unique individuals they possess common traits – patience, kindness empathy, attentiveness, dependability and integrity.”
Care workers at Home Instead spend a minimum of one hour with each client and have created the #YouCanCare hashtag for social media users who are urged to share their stories and find out more information about the campaign online.
