EACH week we profile a member of The Northern Echo Camera Club. This week, Heather Hill.
"I come from Sheffield, but have lived in Darlington for 28 years.
No one has inspired me to take up photography as such, but I have just completed a photography course with Simon Laverick, who has encouraged me, as well as teaching me, how to use my camera
My first camera is the one I use, which is a Nikon d330.
I enjoy working with lights and unusual items such as straws and glass objects and I have been working on my pictures using lights with glass and lights in the dark outside.
I do some work with post production – there is nothing more satisfying than making a picture pop
My advice would be to enjoy and keep taking pictures."
