THREE consultation events will be held this week exploring proposed changes to provisions for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Darlington Borough Council is consulting on proposals affecting its SEND strategy and funding, as well as its SEND travel assistant policy.
It is hoped families accessing SEND support will attend the events, including children, school representatives and education professionals to give their views on the would-be changes.
A SEND strategy and funding and SEND travel assistance policy consultation event will be held between 6pm and 8pm tonight in the Dolphin Centre's Pease Suite.
A presentation focused on the strategy will follow from noon until 2pm in the same location tomorrow, before a final event is held between 4pm and 5.30pm on the travel assistance policy.
