A PRIMARY school has been given a start of term-boost with a pack full of free football equipment.
Pupils attending Holy Family RC Primary School in Darlington took delivery of a Premier League Primary Stars equipment pack.
It is stocked full of items including Nike match footballs, training bibs and numbered and lettered floor markets.
The pack will help teachers deliver active lessons across the curriculum and was awarded to the pupils after their successful application for the scheme. PLPrimaryStars.com offers teachers free curriculum-linked resources in English, Maths, PE and other subjects.
Jane Weatherall, Head Teacher at Holy Family said, “The School is delighted to get these great quality resources which can be used in both PE lessons and by our playground leaders to encourage active break and lunchtimes.”
Richard Scudamore, Executive Chairman of the Premier League said: “The Premier League Primary Stars kit and equipment packs provide a fantastic boost to schools at the start of the new school year.”
