A DANCE school will be celebrating its tenth anniversary with a one-off performance that could raise thousands of pounds for charity.

The Tiffany School of Dance will take over Darlington Civic Theatre on Saturday, May 12, to raise money for the Butterwick Children's Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

Two years ago, the school's dance spectacular show raised more than £5,000 for charity.

This year, the school will perform one act of the ballet Snow White, along with modern and tap dance to the music of Greig, Cole Porter and Tchaikovsky.

About 200 dancers, from three-years-old to adults, have been rehearsing since January for the show.

There will be two performances - one at 2pm and one at 7pm. Tickets cost £12.50, concessions £10.50, and are available by calling 07748-764290.
