DARLINGTON MP Alan Milburn has been out and about in the town to talk to people about their concerns.
Mr Milburn joined councillors Ian Haszeldine and Frank Robson at the street surgery on Wednesday night.
They were joined by Lynne Haszeldine, the prospective Labour party candidate for the Lingfield ward.
The group visited residents of Albatross Way, Heron Drive, Phoenix Court and Flamingo Close, in the Lingfield area.
Coun Haszeldine said people were alarmed about incidents of anti-social behaviour on the Lidl supermarket car park.
Residents had also voiced concerns over a planning application for vacant land at the Edgar Lawson site, off Yarm road.
He said: "We are in regular contact with the MP and his support often leads to matters being resolved. The resident have been most helpful when incidents have occurred and with their help and support we hope to improve the matter for them."
