A CHARITY shop is getting into the festive spirit by creating an angelic shop window.
St Teresa's Hospice Shop, in Skinnergate, Darlington, has put up its annual angel window display to mark the start of the Christmas season.
The clothes on the angels were made by volunteers Pearl Davidson and Peggy Grey.
Shop manager Carol Green said: "Normally Darlington does the festival of angels every year and asks the shops in Skinnergate and Post House Wynd to do an angel window.
"We have been saving our angels up for about six months and unfortunately they decided not to do it this year."
She said that the shop had decided to dress the window with angels anyway, and hoped it would help to raise money for the charity.
She added: "The volunteers are wonderful."
