A COLLISION involving three cars caused traffic problems on a busy Darlington road this afternoon (Wednesday, March 1).
Police were called to an incident on McMullen Road, close to Lingfield Point, at about 3.20pm after a Skoda Octavia, a Vauxhall Zafira and a Volkswagen Golf were involved in a collision.
The road was blocked for a short period until officers were able to clear the scene, although traffic was congested for some time afterwards.
It is not known how many people were involved, but Darlington Police confirmed two children were in one of the vehicles, while a woman suffered a head injury.
