HEIGHINGTON Parish Litter Group will hold at litter pick around the village on Saturday, May 11. Meet at 10am outside the village hall. Refreshments will be served at noon.
ANNUAL MEETING: The Friends of St Cuthbert’s Church will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, May 16, at 7.30pm. The brief agenda will be followed by two short talks. All are welcome.
SILVER BAND: Cockerton Silver Band will perform at Holy Trinity Church, in Woodland Road, Darlington, at 7.30pm, on Sunday, May 12. Tickets cost £6. There will also be a raffle and refreshments. Proceeds to church funds. To book, call Gill Black, on 01325-749116.
