A DARLINGTON street was turned into an alfresco dance floor, as a Latin dance festival got into full swing.
Shoppers stopped to take in the colourful spectacle as the area outside Voodoo Cafe, in Skinnergate, was taken over by dancers strutting their stuff.
Dance workshops were held and there was also a series of displays by professionals.
The carnival was part of the fifth annual Teesside Latin Dance Festival, with events taking place throughout the area.
Funds raised by the festival will go to the local branch of the MS Society.
