A SPRING-THEMED Fun at Four event will be held for young children at St Matthew and St Luke’s Church, in Brinkburn Road, Darlington, at 4pm, on Sunday, April 28. It is intended for the youngest children, but older siblings and parents are welcome.
FILM NIGHTS: Darlington Film Club is showing Hell is a City (PG), at The Forum, in Borough Road, at 8pm on Monday (April 8). It will be followed by Duck Soup (U) at the same time the following week and For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story (12) on April 22. The Breakfast Club (15), on April 29, completes this month’s line-up. All screenings cost £3. A screening of Matilda (PG) will be held on April 22, at 5.30pm, priced £1.50, as part of the film club’s youth movies programme.
COUNCIL MEETS: The next meeting of Hurworth Parish Council will be held at 7pm on Thursday (April 4), at Hurworth Grange Community Centre.
