POLICE have arrested a man after a suspected firearms incident outside a North-East pub.
Police recieved reports of a man with what was believed to be a gun ouside the Fox and Hounds pub in Hetton-le-Hole at just after 7.20pm.
They arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear or alarm.
An item, believed to be an air weapon, was removed from the scene.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
