A DRY-CLEANING firm is getting into the festive spirit by offering a free service to anyone dressed as Santa Claus for charity this Christmas.
Cleaners for Causes, in Darlington, is giving local Santas the chance to have their suits dry-cleaned free, so long as they are planning on being the star attraction at community fundraising events.
The company raises funds for North-East charities such as Butterwick Hospice Care, Heel and Toe and St Oswald's Hospice by donating a portion of its dry-cleaning fees to deserving causes.
EdLebbon, director of Cleaners for Causes, said: "We're proud to be giving something back to those who are playing an important role in supporting local charities and communities this Christmas.
"Raising money for charity is at the heart of Cleaners for Causes' corporate objective, and it's great that we're able to reward local Santas who are looking to do the same thing, whether they are supporting the same charities as us or not."
