A HOUSE was badly damaged by fire in the Grangetown area of Middlesbrough yesterday evening.
Five appliances were sent to the property at Martindale Place shortly after 5.30pm.
The fire was in a bungalow which was well alight on their arrival.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Fire Brigade said there had been severe damage to the roof and to the internal structure of the premises.
