A LITERARY classic is coming to Hambleton this month.
Treasure Island will star local youngsters, who will choreograph and produce the show.
They will be guided by professional dramatists Simon Gibson and Katie Jenkins during a two-day drama workshop.
Mr Gibson and Miss Jenkins are being employed by the district council as part of the Hyper Holidays programme of activities to give under-16s the chance to act.
The workshop will be at Northallerton's Hambleton Forum on August 30 and 31 and will end in a performance at 7.30pm on August 31.
The workshop runs from 10am to 5pm and costs £24.50 -to include tickets for friends and family to attend the performance.
