MORE than £4,000 worth of foreign currency has been stolen from commercial premises on Teesside.
The cash was removed from the company safe in Skippers Lane Industrial Estate, Middlesbrough, some time over the bank holiday weekend.
Australian, American, Canadian, Hong Kong and Chinese dollars were taken during the raid.
Police said they believed the thieves would try to exchange the currency for sterling and appealed for anyone offered such a deal to contact them on (01642) 326326.
