THREE teenagers were rushed to hospital after the car they were travelling in left the road and rolled over several times in east Cleveland.

The 18-year-old driver lost control of the black Fiat Seicento, which left the B1366 Liverton Road near the junction with the A171, at 7.15pm on Thursday.

The local man and two 15-year-old girl passengers, also local, were taken to James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. Their injuries were not considered to be serious.

Cleveland Police are seeking witnesses. Anyone who saw the accident, or the car prior to the accident, is asked to contact PC Iain Tribick on (01642) 301558.
