A CENTENARIAN received her royal telegram just a day after the Queen's 80th birthday.
Annie Robson was joined by family and friends on Saturday at Eastbourne Care Home, Cobden Street, Darlington, for her 100th birthday.
Mrs Robson, whose husband Robert died 30 years ago, has three sons, Geoff, Christopher and Peter and a daughter, Margaret.
She also has six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her family celebrated with a cake and a drink.
Daughter-in-law June Robson said: "She is a happy person.
"She likes holidays and has been to South Africa to see her son, Geoff, in Johannesburg. She always went on holiday until the last few years."
