A CHARITY is holding an event to show people with mental illness the help it can give them to enable them to find work.
The Shaw Trust, which runs a project that gives support to 124 sufferers in County Durham, will hold the free Road to Recovery event, at Durham County Cricket Club, Chester-le-Street, on Thursday, from 10am to 3pm.
"Thursday's event particularly targets the traditionally harder to reach people with mental health issues," said Judith Underwood, Shaw Trust's area manager for Durham and Wearside.
