A BOOK shop has published the first collection of poems by members of its poetry group.
Thirteen members of the group, based at the Ottakar's store in Northallerton, have contributed to A Sudden Clatter of Voices. The poets range from commercially-published writers to print first-timers.
The booklet costs £4 and all the proceeds will go to Sight Savers International.
Store manager Roger Cole said: "The poetry group is a hugely enjoyable example of what fun can be had and creativity harnessed when a book shop provides the meeting place."
